On September 18th, 2023, the Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) at Sershah Engineering College, Sasaram, organized the Ideathon’23 Junior Edition. This event was specifically designed to inspire young students from grades 8-12 to solve real-world problems using modern technology.

- The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony by esteemed guests including Dr. Manish Kumar (Principal), Prof. Om Prakash (Faculty Advisor GDSC SEC), Prof. Vikash Kumar Singh (EEE HOD), Prof. Maruti Nandan Mishra (I/C Technical Club), and Prof. Amit Kumar.
- Training and Preparation:
- Prior to the competition, the GDSC SEC Team conducted training sessions for 1500 students from various schools in Sasaram. These sessions were aimed at introducing the students to technologies such as IoT, robotics, web development, app development, and AI/ML.
- The Competition:
- Out of the 1500 students trained, 112 were selected for the final stage held at Sershah Engineering College’s auditorium. The competition challenged these young innovators to solve real-life problems using the technology they had learned.
